Freddy is Back. This time, the famous role made famous by Robert Englund, is now played by former Watchman and Bad News Bears star Jackie Earle Haley. After working with MTV last year on the Star Trek launch interruptions we worked with some of the same team to do the same for the newest installation of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”
Taking some of the lessons learned from Trek, we were able to build out modular pieces, each focusing on different elements of the film that would be seamlessly integrated into an existing promo, shocking the viewer and drawing their attention to a trailer for the upcoming film. The interruptions are hidden on air, and viewers need to keep a sharp eye to find them. Some of the interruptions were created in 2D/3D, and one in particular was shot in our space here at Click 3X.
